WildApricot or MPass: membership software, or a card in your members’ wallet?
WildApricot is popular membership management software for associations, with a member card in its app. MPass puts the membership card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet instead, with a QR code you scan at the door. Free up to 50 cards.

The member adds the card to their iPhone or Android in one tap. At the door, you scan the QR code with your phone.
What MPass does for your club

Membership cards in the Wallet
Each member adds their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. It updates itself: tier, validity, renewal.

Tickets and invitations
Create an event, share the link, scan at the door with your phone. Parties, matches, tournaments, galas.

One-shot Excel import
Import your member list (Excel or CSV): all the cards are created in one go, with one link per member.

Sent automatically by email
Each member gets their card by email, with the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet buttons. You can also copy the link for WhatsApp or SMS.

Built for clubs and leagues
Soccer, tennis, pickleball, martial arts, swim teams, rec leagues, booster and alumni clubs: 90 ready-made card designs, one per activity, in your colors.

Membership fees stay with the club
MPass never touches your members’ money: they pay the club as usual (bank transfer, cash) and you activate their card.
Two different jobs
WildApricot combines a member database, online payments, events, invoices and financial reports, with QuickBooks export. Members get a digital card in their profile and in WildApricot’s free member app, and the admin app scans QR codes for event check-in.
The wallet question. We didn’t find Apple Wallet or Google Wallet cards on WildApricot’s pages. Its users have asked for them on its feature request forum since 2020, with requests as recent as 2025, and in 2026 users were still asking for a QR code on the member card.
Pricing. WildApricot’s pricing page starts at $66 per month for 100 contacts billed monthly, or $59.40 per month paid yearly, after a 60-day trial. We didn’t see a permanent free plan. MPass is free up to 50 cards, then $39 per month for 300 cards.
If you need online payments, invoicing and a full member database in one place, WildApricot fits better. If you already have those, or don’t need them, and want a card members carry on their phone without installing an app, MPass is simpler and cheaper.

Pick your sport, the card is ready
Each activity has its own design: colours, 3D object, card title, membership plans. You add your logo, your text and the back of the card. The design stays consistent, and your members recognise their club at a glance.
