What MPass does for your club

Membership cards in the Wallet

Each member adds their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. It updates itself: tier, validity, renewal.

Tickets and invitations

Create an event, share the link, scan at the door with your phone. Parties, matches, tournaments, galas.

One-shot Excel import

Import your member list (Excel or CSV): all the cards are created in one go, with one link per member.

Sent automatically by email

Each member gets their card by email, with the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet buttons. You can also copy the link for WhatsApp or SMS.

Made for Belgium

Cards in English, French, Dutch and German, pre-filled health insurance fund certificate, ASBL / VZW ready. Admin interface in English, French, Dutch and German.

Membership fees stay with the club

MPass never touches your members’ money: they pay the club as usual (bank transfer, cash) and you activate their card.

General-purpose platform vs. a tool made for clubs

PassKit lets companies design and distribute loyalty cards, coupons, event tickets and membership cards. It offers a no-code designer, templates, an API and SDKs, and the PassReader scanning app for iOS and Android.

Pricing. PassKit’s pricing page starts at US$39.50 per month for one user, with 250 membership passes included, then charges per pass (for example $0.045 per membership pass from 251 to 2,500). Extra staff users raise the monthly fee in steps, up to $249.50. There is a 45-day free trial and no permanent free plan. Its help center also mentions an Apple Developer account ($99 per year) for commercial passes.

Setup. Because PassKit serves every industry, a club designs its own card, sets up the fields, the enrollment page and the distribution. PassKit mentions expiry dates and renewals, but we did not find automatic renewal reminder emails on its public pages.

MPass is narrower and ready on day one: pick your sport or activity among 90 designs, add your logo, and send cards by email. Each card shows the plan and expiry date, updates itself when the member renews, and on Essential a reminder goes out a month before it expires. Scanning cards and tickets is included in your plan, with no per-user fee. Free up to 50 cards, then €19 per month excl. VAT for 300 cards.

Pick your sport, the card is ready

Each activity has its own design: colours, 3D object, card title, membership plans. You add your logo, your text and the back of the card. The design stays consistent, and your members recognise their club at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

Is PassKit free?

According to its pricing page (October 2026), PassKit has a 45-day free trial, then plans start at US$39.50 per month with 250 membership passes, plus per-pass fees above that. MPass is free up to 50 active cards with no time limit.

Do I need an Apple Developer account with MPass?

No. MPass signs the cards for you. You create your card, add your members, and they tap “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”.

Does MPass charge per scanner or per user?

No. Scanning cards and tickets is included in your plan, with no extra fee per user.

When is PassKit the better choice?

If you need passes for many purposes (loyalty, coupons, tickets) or want to connect passes to your own software through an API, PassKit is more flexible. MPass is made only for club membership cards and event tickets.

Do we need to install an app?

No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
